Post a CommentI loved the choice of the last word - "squeal". Great piece.
The American Dream has truely turned into a nightmere. Perhaps we had the wrong dream all along.
Very clever and to the point. The first Palin verse is darkly hilarious!
You should write more for AC.
So, it took me a while to get here and the election has long been over, but, I'm glad I stopped here. Haikus are always suspect with me...they can be so ambiguous (that's the difficulty of packing so much into so little! I enjoyed these. I do hope all is well with you!
Nice! I'm supporting whoever runs against Palin if she runs again, LOL!
This is great. I wish I could do so well.
These are great -- apparently I missed them. I was so relieved when Obama/Biden won! I was prepared to move to Canada if McCain/Palin had won! Haiku is hard; so much to say in so few syllables. You did it very well!
Very good, esp. the Palin ones. We think she's insane here in the UK!
Awesome haikus! (or haikii, I don't know how to pluralize Japanese terms. hah hah)
