The Biathlon sport is broken down into five categories: sprint, pursuit, individual, mass start, and relay. Biathlon combines cross-country skiing with rifle shooting. Competitors shoot from both the prone and standing positions.
The Mass Start Biathlon competition was first introduced to the Winter Olympic games in 2006. The top thirty athletes from the previous four Biathlon events start the competition at the same time.
The 2010 Winter Olympics is being covered by NBC. This Biathlon schedule includes the times that the competition is scheduled for and the times that NBC has scheduled to televise these events.

Great, Thanks... :o)
I've never attempted to ski OR shoot a rifle, so this event has never held much interest for me.
The Biathlon is fabulous! I cannot imagine the stamina this event takes!
