Brooklyn, NY 11201
United States of America
These bike riders are part of the Big Apple Tweed Ride. Riders are encouraged to wear traditional British cycling attire and ride a vintage bike. According to the Big Apple Tweed, this fall ride is a celebration of fashion and an attempt to recreate nineteenth century cycling culture.
The ride is also sponsoring Virginia's House of Hope to aid homeless and disadvantaged families in New York. The ride will start at the Grand Army Plaza monument and continue through Boerum Hill along Flatbush and Lafayette Avenues around 11 a.m. A map of the route can be found here.
