Big Brother 11 Episode 21: Jeff Fights for POV, but Would He Use It?

Recap of the August 25, 2009 Episode

Suzanne Rose
Last time on Big Brother, Jeff got the power and kept his alliance alive by putting up Natalie and Kevin for eviction. It could all change tonight though as Jeff might be planning to backdoor Russell. Will the sparks fly tonight? Let's hope!

Natalie is on her 4th nomination and hoping that she will once again be safe. Kevin knows the plan is to backdoor Russell, but still wants that POV for himself! Russell quickly started getting paranoid because he thought for sure Jeff would get him out this week. Russell was reaching for straws and told Jeff he'd never put him up and never vote against him, but Jeff doesn't really believe it. Kevin and Natalie set their sights on Jordan next giving her the same story they gave Jeff last episode - they are always loyal to those they are aligned with.

Jeff and Jordan saw Michele starring at the pictures on the wall and thought she was preparing in case the next competition involved stuff in the house. Jeff told Jordan she should do the same and got a little angry with her for not taking this seriously. He told her he needs help from her and she got defensive that she doesn't really need his help. Jordan wasn't happy that Jeff raised his voice at her. Will this power couple split up when they are so close to the end?

Russell started to notice that Jeff wasn't there for him as much. Michele came up to talk game and noticed that they weren't really chatty about it. Jordan sat there with headphones on the same time and didn't say a word, which Jeff called her out about after Michele left. Jordan acted like she wasn't really paying attention because of her headphones, but Jeff said she could have gotten into the conversation too and helped their game along. When Michele came back in, Jordan obviously took the hint and started asking questions of Michele. Jeff asked Michele why she keeps referring to her and Russell as "we" and said she's not safe with him.

Kevin and Natalie felt safer now that Jeff and Jordan seemed to want Russell out, but Kevin said in Diary that he would stab them in the back soon as he could. What! I thought they were trying to make a deal, not screw them? Boooo

Casey's voice showed up for The POV Competition which had the theme of apes and bananas. He had to rap clues and they would go out and find the answer in the yard, written on a banana. The first thing I thought was... what a waste of bananas! This would be an elimination competition cutting them down one by one based on who was the slowest each round. Jordan was the first eliminated after not being able to find a banana that said Ronnie's name. Natalie was cut next, then Russell which made Kevin very happy. Next eliminated was Kevin, leaving Michele and Jeff to duke it out. Jeff won POV with the last question, but would he use it?

Jeff told Kevin and Natalie that if he saves them, they better not put him up. They agreed saying they want Michele out next week. Right after though, Natalie said they HAVE to put up Jeff next week if they want to stay safe. So it looks like they will say what they have to this week just to make it through to next week. In the meantime, Jeff and Jordan seemed to make up and be the happy couple once again.

At the POV Ceremony, Jeff did decide to save Kevin and put up Russell in his place. He said it's a game, but I'm just waiting for Russell to lash out at him! Tune in next episode to see if that happens.
