Big Brother 12 Episode 24 Recap
This episode started to show viewers that Lane wasn't quite as loyal to his Brigade alliance as one might have thought, and that Ragan was certainly on the outside looking in at this point. Though Ragan had seemed ecstatic about making it into this group for the final five, maybe he should have thought harder about forming strong alliances before it got to this point in the game. Now he has found himself as the odd man out, and of course the obvious target of everyone else in the house.
With only five people left in the house, it also means that there will only be two people voting at Thursday's eviction ceremony. That makes it more important than ever to have a strong alliance with other houseguests. In the result of a one-to-one tie in the votes, the tie-breaking vote comes down to the Head of Household. That gives Lane a bit of extra power heading into Thursday, and it means he can basically protect his alliances with even more fortitude.
Big Brother 12 Episode 24 Power of Veto Competition
This week everyone got to play in the Power of Veto competition, and it looked to be like quite an important one for the two nominees. The two nominees at this point were Enzo and Ragan, both of whom Lane had put up on the block during the last episode of the show. Ragan knew that he needed to win this Power of Veto competition in order to save himself, but he failed to do that. Instead, it was Enzo who won the Power of Veto, making it the first time that he has won a competition like this all season.
Big Brother 12 Episode 24 Power of Veto Ceremony
With Enzo winning the Power of Veto, he was then given the opportunity to take himself off the block. That is exactly what he did, and that meant that Head of Household Lane had to nominate another houseguest for eviction. The newest nomination may have also come as a surprise to some viewers, because Lane nominated Hayden, continuing his protecting of Britney. Now the vote on Thursday will be between Ragan and Hayden to decide who will be the ninth person evicted during the Big Brother 12 season.

If the Brigade can't figure out that Lane's protection of Britteny (over either Enzo or Hayden)is a problem, then they really DO have a problem!!
