Big Brother 12 Premieres, Who is the Big Brother Saboteur?

Big Brother has returned for the twelfth season and this time around they've thrown in a "new game piece" to keep both America and the houseguests guessing. This new "features" is known as the Big Brother Saboteur, someone who is basically a mole planted by producers to wreak havoc in the house. Before we get to that though we have to actually start at the beginning: the houseguest leave their life outside the house to be locked away for 75 days. Kind of surprising to hear Julie say the exact amount the houseguests will be in on the first night. One by one each received their key, some seemed more genuinely shocked then others but we all know it's kind of no surprise at all.

Through these quick clips we get to know a lot about the houseguests. Where they live, what their jobs are and overall what type of personality they have. First thing noticed was Andrew and his yamcha. It's going to be interesting watching how he lives in a house while under not only Big Brother restrictions, but his own as well. Then we have Annie, she is bi-sexual but that won't be known in the house, at least at first. It seems a lot of the housegusts are going in with a lie, for instance Andrew wants nobody knowing he's a doctor and Ragan wants nobody knowing his a college professor. I hope they aren't taking their queues from Natalie of last season because we all know how well that went over.

After sending the houseguests into the house in groups of four or five, they met in the living room to discuss who they are with everyone else. Here we got to see the start of who will be bonding early on as it seems Britney loves Ragan for being a "flaming homosexual" while Kristen and Hayden may have a showmance going on at some point. We also saw heavy Diary Rooms by Enzo, Annie, Rachel and Matt. I have a feeling those four will be big time DRers this season. With the get-to-know-you done Julie dropped the bomb. She announced that this season featured a saboteur in the game, making it the "hardest season ever". I doubt that will be true but we shall see. We also got a weird shadowed message from the saboteur with a distorted voice. Didn't give much away, just kind of creeped my out.

With the saboteur in people's minds many thought it would be Brandon, Kathy or Andrew. Brandon mocked the mole, Andrew just acted weird and Kathy's job kind of made people point fingers. Suspicion on Andrew grew even more when it came to picking teams for the HOH. Julie mentioned that someone had to sit out as a mascot (basically a hot dog costume), Andrew rose his hand and chose himself right away. Later on it was revealed that he could not win HOH but would be safe for the first week, hmm was he tipped off on that? Makes you wonder. The others split up and went into the back yard to "ride the big weenies" as many of the girls said. Basically holding onto a punching bag painted like a hot dog, first person across would get $10,000 and decreasing amounts after that. Last person across for the winning team would be the first HOH.

Most of the drama was from the girls not being able to hold on to the hot dogs. Kathy and Britney struggled the most, thankfully both were on different teams. When it came down to three left on each team, Britney fell off and really did something to her knee. That ended up with a medic coming into the back yard to check her, really on the first night? I bet that's a first. And he made her sit out, forcing the other team to pick someone who already went across to take her spot. They picked Kristen who easily sailed across again, making it worth-while to have Britney hurt herself. In the end Kathy couldn't get on the hot dog and that gave Hayden, the one who knows the LEAST about the show, the first HOH of the season. I have a feeling it will go to his head like it has some first non-BB watcher's in the past and hopefully that will be a sure sign that he is out early on.

Although we don't know who the saboteur is we saw their first havoc-wreaking task take place. After all the houseguests were sitting in the living room, the lights in the entire house were cut making it pitch black. Although everyone remained in their seats, we could see night-vision as Andrew and Brandon both headed towards the bedrooms. Brandon "says" that he thought it meant bed time from Big Brother, and went to grab his tooth brush and tooth paste to brush his teeth.... in the dark. Andrew had a different approach, play pranks on the houseguests. Slamming doors and throwing pillows to scare them off. When the lights were back on, the door storage were was padlocked shut, meaning everyone was on slop until the Saboteur opened the lock. Now it would make sense that either Andrew or Brandon is the mole, however Big Brother can easily edit things for us to not see the true culprit so I'm not buying that story yet.

Overall it was a strong first episode but they usually are. The feeds will be the true showing of what the houseguests are made up and as those go LIVE tonight at 12est/9pst we will sure have our hands full guessing who the saboteur is and getting to know the 13 new houseguests.
