'Big Brother' 2010 Season 12 Spoilers:Bro-Gade Or Boregade? Week 9 Power of Veto Paves the Way for a Predictable Eviction

Who Won the 'Big Brother 12' Week 9 POV Competition and Who Went Home?

Victoria Leigh Miller
Wednesday night on Big Brother 12 viewers saw the Power of Veto competition and an eviction ceremony that didn't even warrant a live show. Why? Maybe because it was so darn predictable. Meanwhile The Brigade still reigns, although lately they are more like the Boregade.

Week 9 Head of Power of Veto Competition

With Lane and Britney on the chopping block it was do or die time. The POvVcomp is a "Big Brother Trivia" contest, which features questions about the past houseguests. On comes the doofus music as Lane acts like he doesn't have a clue on any of the questions. I think Lane's way smarter than he comes off. Just a hunch. But Hayden- who is the current HOH- wins the POV .

The Brigade Comes Out of the Closet

Poor Brit. She really, truly doesn't see it coming. The Brigade- Enzo, Hayden and Lane- decide to out themselves, if only to spare Britney the agony of actually thinking that she's safe this week. I wonder why they go through with telling her - someone who is about to go to the jury house - about The Brigade, an alliance they made on Day 2. For Lane it is the most risky, as Britney may feel betrayed by him. But I guess these guys are really bored, because they not so subtly start off a conversation about alliances in the house, peppered with evil cackles. All I can think is I wish Britney would stop biting her nails as it starts sinking in. When she finally realizes she's going home (Hayden drops the bomb that he has no intention of using the Veto on her), it ain't pretty. The tears start flowing and Brit exits the room to get away from the Mean Boys.

Lane runs to her and tries to smooth things over but Brit says "I've been completely played". Lane feels really bad. Seeing Brit cry makes him feel like "one of his "good dogs died". Oh my.

POV Ceremony and Eviction

Seems degrading that a player like Britney- someone who actually competed and won stuff- didn't even get a live eviction. Nope, Brit's demise was taped ahead of time. But by the time she's sent off to the jury house she seems to have no hard feelings, even towards Lane. It is a game after all.

Final HOH Part 1

With three Brigade members left, it's time to start Part One of the Three-Part Final Head of Household competition. The theme is 'Rumble in the Jungle" but it looks more like "Bungle in the Jungle". Enzo, Hayden and Lane must swing on ropes and get slammed. Just for good measure, a good dousing by a waterfall is in order. Part One of the final HOH will play out on Thursday night's live episode.

Here's who is left in the Big Brother 12 house. Who do you think will go home this week?
