Big Brother 8: Is This for CBS or MTV?

Ok, after the last couple of seasons of Big Brother on CBS I have actually come to like the show and was looking forward to the upcoming season. Until, I saw the people who are set to be on this season. I mean come on. You can just tell they are trying to set up this season to be about sex and hooking up. To prove my point lets have a look and see who the people that are going on the show.

First, let's have a look at the females. We have Amber, from Las Vegas, NV, who is 27, separated, and a cocktail waitress. Now, you know that if someone is a cocktail waitress from Vegas, they are ready to party. Then there is Carol, another single young attractive female, who is a student, from Lawrence, KS. Are you paying attention? So, far that is two attractive single females. Up next is Daniele, who is a waitress in Hunting Beach, CA, 20 years olds, attractive, and get this single. Still not believing me, let's continue. Jen is another one from California, 23 years old, a nanny, and single. Then we have Jameka, 28, from Waldorf, MD, and single. And why not throw in another college student, Jessica, 21, from Haysville, Ks. Of course, the show doesn't want to make it seem like they are discriminating people who are not ready to get drunk and have sex, so they had to throw in the one married, mature lady, Kail, 37, from Mckenzie Bridge, OR.

As for the seven guys, all single. Although I really don't think any of them look as good as some of guys from previous seasons, like Kaysar, Jase, Scott, Will, and Drew. A couple of them will definitely catch the female viewers' eye and some of the ladies in the house attention. For example, Nick, who is 25, from Kimball, MN, and Mike who is 26, from Three Lakes, WI.

Even though almost all of the Big Brother's house females are young single and look like the after shot of a plastic surgery TV special. You may still have your doubts. But, if you have ever watched Big Brother, you know that half of the show is the house guest either laying around getting a tan or doing challenges. Keep in mind that most of the challenges involve being in bathing suits.

Another thing about this season, none of these contestants are overweight. With a show taking place in one of the fattest countries in the world, you are trying to tell me that no one overweight had enough personality to be on the show?

Don't get me wrong, I see what CBS is doing. But, I thought I was watching CBS, not MTV.
