Big Brother 8 Recap for 8/23/07

Big Brother 8 aired on CBS 8/23/07. Wonderful episode. Full of action thanks to Jenn and ED. It started with Jameka & Amber on the block. Danielle won the POV (Power of Veto) last week and agreed to take Amber off if Amber promised not to put her on the block if she ever got HOH (Head of Household). Amber agreed to that and then some. Amber was taken off the block and replaced with Jenn. I know not many people like Jenn but she's my favorite for this season. She knew she was back-doored and on her way out.

Jenn started rebelling. This is where it gets good. She's supposed to be on slop but she started to cook turkey burgers. She started eating the burger, apples and it looked like cottage cheese. Big Brother called her in over the loud speaker to report to the "Diary Room". Because she made Big Brother history by breaking the eating rules, she was given one penalty vote when it was time to vote.

Jenn bagged up her clothes and hid them. When she was done, she took all 4 cartons of cigarettes that belonged to ED and opened all the packs and tore them up. She put them in the trash can of the pantry room. (Go Jenn!) ED had a feeling she was up to something so he went to get his cigarettes and saw they were gone. He looked all over for them but couldn't find them. He did find Jenn's clothes so he took them into the HOH room and hid them until he could find his cigarettes. After all of this, they're outside again and ED is smoking one of his last few cigarettes he had on his person and Jenn was chomping on her apple. ED blew smoke in Jenn's face so she got up and tried to take away his cigarette. He pointed the cigarette at her multiple times in an attempt to burn her. I was yelling at the TV telling her to spit her chewed up apple in his face or bop him in the head with the rest of the apple that was in her hand but she didn't. Jameka pulled Jenn away and they went inside to look at her burns. She was fine with no injuries.

Voting took place and Jenn was voted out 6 to 0 (7 to 0 with the penalty vote). Eric yelled some smart-aleck remark as she left which surprised me. Yeah right! Mr. Macho trying to be tough.

After Jenn left they had an HOH competition and Jessica won for the second time. It should be interesting to see who she puts up on the block. In my opinion, ED has to go. He's lives true to his name. Evil Dick. In my eyes, it's the devil without disguise. He mocks Jameka's Christianity and Amber's motherhood. Since Jessica and Eric are desperate to fit in, I find it hard to believe they would put up ED or his precious daughter Danielle as they are now a package deal.
