Did the Donato's Make it to the Final Two?

The end of season 8 of Big Brother is just days away and the they are down to the final two. Before we get to the final two, lets take a look back at where we started this summer.

We started off the summer with eleven houseguests entering the house together with three others laying.. well sitting.. in wait upstairs to surprise the house. Entering in the main group, we had Amber, the 27 year old cocktail waitress from Las Vegas. Nick, the 25 year old former professional football player from Kimball, Minnesota. Jen, a 23 year old bikini model and nanny from Beverly Hills. Joe, the 23 year old receptionist from Chicago. Kail, the 37 year old business owner from McKenzie Bridge, Oregon.

Also entering in the first 11 was Jameka, the 28 year old school counselor from Waldorf, Maryland. Eric, the 27 year old talent management assistant from New York. Zach, the 30 year old graphic designer from Burbank California. Mike, the 26 year old painting contractor from Three Lakes, Wisconsin. Danielle, a 20 year old Hooters waitress from Huntington Beach, California. And rounding out the group was Carol, the 21 year old student from Lawrence Kansas.

Laying in wait to join the 11 are Dick, the 44 year old bar manager from Los Angeles, California. Jessica, the 21 year old college student from Haysville, Kansas. And Dustin, the 22 year old salesman from Chicago. What none of them know at first, though, is that the three that are separated from the rest, not only know one of the houseguests, but they are enemies. That's right, Dick is the estranged father of Danielle. Jessica is the former friend and high school rival of Carol and Dustin is the ex-boyfriend of Joe.

If that isn't enough, the viewers learn that there is another twist, one that none of the houseguests will know about until the final show. One of the houseguests is going to be America's player. The viewers will control his actions in the house, telling him who to get nominated and who to vote out, along with other tasks throughout the season.

This leaves us set up for a great season of drama and fights, but that's not really how things go. The 11 original houseguests vow an alliance right up front to get rid of the enemies first. But, like most alliances, that falls apart quickly over the course of the first week and the first head of household, Kail, nominates Amber and Carol for eviction. Danielle, after winning the power of veto, had the chance to take one of them off, but chose not to, leading to Carol's ultimate eviction.

During the second week, we see Jen as our head of household. She has already made enemies in the house of almost everyone and has caused her own fair share of trouble by lying to people. She nominates Dick and Danielle for eviction with the reason of the negativity that they bring into the house. Danielle, however, is able to save herself from eviction by winning the power of veto and is soon replaced on the block by Joe, another of the original eleven. Sadly, the house votes out Joe, again reinforcing the fact that the pact that the original 11 made didn't hold water after the first five minutes.

Week three dawns with Dick, or as he has been coined Evil Dick, as head of household. And Evil Dick he is, nominating both Kail and Jen for eviction, out of revenge and dislike for the pair. Wouldn't you know it, Jen manages to win the power of veto and removes herself from the block. This forces Dick to replace her and he chooses Mike, who Kail ends up throwing under the bus in a last ditch effort to stay. She outs her alliance with Mike, Nick and Zach to Dick and we find Mike evicted from the house while the other two are left reeling from Kail's betrayal.

And on we go, week four finds us with Danielle and Dick mending fences in their personal relationship and Dustin holding all the power of the head of household. Dustin proceeds to nominate Jen and Kail for the second week in a row. Will one of them go home this week? We learn that it will not be Jen for sure, since Jameka won the power of veto and removed her from the block. Dustin then replaces the vetoed Jen with Nick, leading to his eviction from the house. This, however, was not the only action of the week, when we were treated to fights among the houseguests, most of them aimed towards Jen and even going so far as Dick dumping a glass of iced tea over her head.

If week four wasn't bad enough, week five was no easier, seeing Danielle as head of household. The drama started early in week five with a banner plane flying over the Big Brother house saying "We Love Nick."
