Week six sees Jessica in the head of household seat and Dick and Danielle on the block side by side again. This only lasts until Dick wins the power of veto and uses it. But does he use it on himself? No, he takes his daughter off the block forcing Jessica to replace her and she chooses Dustin, at his request. He wanted to be the one sitting beside Dick when he was evicted. Dustin wanted to be the one that Dick lost to, but in true Big Brother fashion, this backfired when Dustin was voted out.
Week seven doesn't lack drama either with Danielle as head of household and Amber coming in second, earning themselves a trip out of the house to go compete on CBS's Power of 10. But it wasn't all fun and games for the houseguests with Jameka and Amber on the block. It seemed certain that one of the two would be going, since Danielle won the power of veto competition and it's rare for the nominees to be switched. But it wouldn't be Big Brother without some sort of surprise and in this case, Danielle vetoed Amber off the block, replacing her with Jen. This sparked Jen to go off her rocker, causing her to find and destroy Dick's cigarette's because she didn't like him smoking. She also decided that she was going to eat food, even though she was on slop restriction, earning herself an automatic eviction vote for breaking the rules. In the end, however, the penalty vote wasn't needed when she left on a unanimous vote.
Just when you think things are finally going to settle down in the house, week eight brings you Jessica as the head of household again, this time nominating Amber and Zach for eviction. The household was treated to watching Danielle and Amber's trip to Power of 10 when Danielle learned that Nick would have been her support person if she had beaten Amber. Eric wins the power of veto, leaving the nominations stand and we see Amber leave this week.
Week nine has a new head of household with Zach who nominated Jessica and Jameka. Danielle wins the power of veto but leaves the nominations as they stand, breaking her alliance with Eric and Jessica. But this wasn't going to be an easy week for anyone, they learned during the live eviction that it was a fast forward. This meant that as soon as Jessica was voted out, they competed for head of household again, this time giving Dick the power to nominate Eric and Jameka. If they thought there was going to be any time for it to set in, they were wrong. Zach won the power of veto, leaving the nominations alone, leading to the eviction of Eric.
Week ten leaves the final four of Dick, Danielle, Zach and Jameka in the house to compete for the head of household, which Zach manages to win. He, in a strange, but impassioned speech, nominates his alliance of Dick and Danielle, telling them that he wants to give Jameka a fair chance at winning because no one else had the stones to get rid of them. This infuriates Dick, causing much drama and arguments between him and Zach throughout the week, but Danielle saves her father with the power of veto. With Jameka being the only one left that could be put up on the block and Dick being the only voter on the live eviction vote, Jameka was voted out.
This left us with Dick, Danielle and Zach fighting for the ultimate head of household, the one that would determine who the final two would be. During a three part competition, Zach manages to win the first part, outlasting the other two in an endurance competition that lasted over eight hours. Part two pitted father against daughter in which Dick finished his puzzle in half the time that it took Danielle. Dick faced off against Zach for the final part of the competition, barely edging out a win for the ultimate power and in turn voting out Zach almost immediately afterward.
That's right folks, estranged father and daughter are the final two left in the house. Now all they have to do is face a jury of their evicted houseguests to see who the ultimate winner. Will it be Evil Dick, who's strategy was to alienate and annoy everyone or will it be the competitor Danielle who won so many competitions? In a few days, it will be decided during a live finale on September 18th. Will you be watching to see who wins? I sure will.
