Big Brother 9: Episode Six Recap

Tim St.Sauver
Big Brother episode six is chalk full or surprises. This is a short version, because not all that much happened.

Where We Stand

HoH: James and Chelsia

The First Soul Mate Connection!

Early money was on Alex and Amanda . Nat and Matt even ended up getting close this episode (she wants it, he doesn't want to let a girl interfere with the game.) But out of left field James and Chelsia got something more than care packages out of the HoH room. They only kiss from what we can tell, but that at least it's something!

The Condor (ka kaaaa)

James' master plan. Operation Condor. Ka Kaaa! The idea, he tells Ryan and Adam, is to get Alex and Amanda out of the house. Every targeted eviction needs a pawn though, and anybody who knows Big Brother history knows that the pawn is far from safe.

Food Comp

The food competition is an example of how much money Big Brother has. They flooded the entire back yard and put dead fish everywhere. The object of the game is that each team (3 couples each) would split into two sections. Three players would stand on the boats (Named Dev'Ocean' and 'Sea'Duction) holding nets. The other three would gather as many fish as possible and throw them into THE OTHER TEAMS nets. The nets get heavier as more fish are added, and the players eventually drop them. Long story short, Joshuah was the last one with a net in hand, and his team won the food comp. which means Alex and Amanda, Adam and Sheila, and James and Chelsia are on slop (but since James and Chelsia are HoH they still get to eat.) Amanda isn't too thrilled about eating slop for a week. Can you believe that?

We aren't really lesbians. It just made sense at the time...

Even though couples that knew each other outside of the house had been targeted since day 3, Sheila and Allison figure it would be brilliant to act as though they are a lesbian couple. But now they don't think it is such a good idea, so they tell Joshuah. Sorry , we lied about our sexuality. Have a good day! Joshuah is upset, and James and Chelsia don't think they will be able to trust the ex-pretend-lesbian couple any more. Goodness, can't believe that didn't work out better for you Sheila and Allison.

Nomination Time

I call it karma. Last week, after promising to save Parker if he got power of veto, Matt decided not to use it and Parker was evicted. This week, James promises Matt that he is safe. Operation Condor, however, needs a pawn. So at the end of the day Matt/Nat are nominated with Alex/Amanda. This weeks Power of Veto is huge.

That's all I've got. Tuesday nights recap will be more complete!
