Natalie, in true Natalie fashion, is clueless that she is the next one to go and tries to play both ends against the middle, a play that quite frankly irritates all involved. A "house meeting" is called and because Natalie is dying her hair, the meeting is moved to the bathroom. A move, which frankly makes a lot of sense, as she is the one the meeting is about in the first place.
When faced with the question of where her loyalties lie, with the guys or the girls, Natalie wisely says "the guys". This is probably the brightest and yet dimmest thing she has done so far in the game. As there will be two votes from the guys this week, they hold eviction power in the palm of their testosterone charged hands and Natalie, perhaps consciously (though I suspect it is unconsciously), knows this and throws the girls under the bus for the guys. When the lie of convenience doesn't seem to work, she tries another approach. She cries.
Of course this play makes Adam feel somewhat guilty and he contemplates letting Natalie stay for "one more week" a statement that causes Sheila to ask him if he has any "spine or kiwis", an interesting turn of a phrase if nothing else. Adam takes it badly as only Adam can and calls Sheila a "b$tch", thus causing his exit from the HOH room. Sheila is not happy. And for the record, I'm not sure being on Sheila's bad side is necessarily the best place to be. Something tells me that this woman has not gotten as far in life as she has, by being all peaches and cream. This cat has claws and knows how and where to use them to her best advantage.
Of course we can't forget Big brother's Julie, who asks the women of the house why they basically let the guys vent and said virtually nothing during the "dye, lie and cry" event. If Julie thought she was going to discover some earth shattering statements consisting of game play and plans she was wrong. The ladies of the house simply stated that they felt it was the guys' meeting and had nothing to say. Yeah, right, we believe that one! This group lies more than a fourth grade class when the class reward jar is found empty of its penny suckers. No one can prove who did what but everyone knows the deed was done.
And for the moment we were all waiting for (yawn) the voting commences and Big Brother tries (and subsequently fails) to draw out any remaining doubt as to who will be the next houseguest to join the sequester house. Natalie, with freshly dyed hair, soon joins Julie on the couch for the prerequisite, "how does it feel?" and good-bye clips from the other houseguests. Except for Sharon who states that "no one believed you", the videos are so saccharine sweet that viewers all over the world were checking their blood sugar levels during commercial break. After a short time on the couch, Natalie is not only out of the picture but out of the line up for the million dollars as well and is on her way to the sequester house.
Meanwhile back in the big brother house, the remaining houseguests, minus Shelia of course, are readying to play "fact or fiction" a game in which they must decide if each of the seven statements given are fact or fiction. The game is a tight one with Ryan and Sharon ending the round with 5 correct answers each. A tie breaker is given consisting of "how many combined minutes did the houseguests stay in their glass houses?" Scribbling away, we are soon privy to Adam and Sharon's answers. Julie announces that with an answer of 310, Adam is the next Head of House.
The houseguests settle down for what promises to be another eventful week in big brother house. With the end clearly in sight, one cannot help but wonder what Adam will do in the upcoming week. Given that he has an alliance with Ryan it is highly doubtful that he will place him on the chopping block but then again with the POV in the back ground as possibly being the white horse in the game, it should be interesting to see if Adam goes for the jugular with his first nomination or if he holds off nominating both girls on the off chance that one of them will get POV. Another sun sets in the day gloBrady Bunch Big brother house. But don't be sad, tomorrow promises to hold even more drama than before. After all, isn't that the cement that holds big brother together?
