Big Brother 9 Update: Amanda and Allison Emergencies Highlight Show

On Big Brother Tuesday night, there were so many unexpected aspects brought into play. I will get into them soon but first, lets discuss the couples aspect. This has brought so many emotional encounters into play it isn't funny. This has got to be the most emotional Big Brother yet. Each couple has to deal with all others in the house as well as their partner. Trying to play for two as one is a very hard thing to do in real life by two people that have promised to live and love for each other, let alone by two people who have just met on a TV show that is aired and watch by millions.

I find it very interesting that Amanda and Allison has medical emergency at the very same moments. I can't remember any emergencies in any past shows. I do commend Big Brother staff on there quick response to both girls. If one every wondered 'what if', I believe that we received our answers tonight. I'm happy to know that even though some of the house mates have to eat slop, go without hot water, etc. that they are taken care of medically and response is as quick if not quicker than we have out here in reality.

I also wonder if Amanda's medical emergency will impact the vote when votes are logged in for eviction. Can the other house guests come down from their concerned state aside and play in the best interest of the house and their partners. I know that I might tend to feel sorry for her and go into vote with the mind set that there is always next week.

I do question Amanda's statement about needing sugar as she was being taken out of the house, does she have a medical problem with sugar, did Big Brother know this, and if so what can be done in the future to allow the medical needs and still maintain house rules.

I will be looking forward to seeing tomorrow night, to see how long all the concern for Amanda keeps her away from the negative emotions that were focused towards her before her episode.

I know that it seems that I'm leaving Alison out but that isn't really true. I just don't believe that Alison is in any danger of her medical episode hindering her stay in the Big Brother house. She and Ryan are really in a good place at this time and they have allot of positive energy surrounding them with the other players.

I guess that we will have to see what happens tomorrow. Did these medical emergencies help or hinder either one of the girls, their partners, and the house as a whole?
