Big Brother: Worst Show on Television?

For me, watching the show Big Brother is like driving by a car crash. Every time I turn on the television, there are a bunch of stereotypes predictably boring the hell out of me, but I can't look away.

When I first started watching reality television, I was entertained by dating shows like singles out and more shows that actually seemed like they were filled with decent people ala Real World. Alas, CBS has perfected its formula and produced way too many seasons of a low rated show called Big Brother.

The premise of the show is that they put a certain amount of people in a house for a long time. They can't leave. People spend hundreds of dollars sending banner planes overhead so that they could get a message across, the producers offer twists every season, and the house is fitted with Cameras. They have shows on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday which are edited to no end to display characters as they want them to be portrayed. They also have 3 hours of live feeds on Showtime from 12-3 Eastern Time every night, and they added live feeds to the mix 24 hours a day.

This season has been abominable. On the first episode they introduced both twists. 3 of the houseguests had estranged people from their past on the show, and one person was being controlled by the idiots who watch the show. Fortunately, they found two people who hadn't spoken since 7th grade because of $5, which was overshadowed by the two gay guys who broke up when one came down with gonorrhea and proceeded to ruin the others life, and then there is the case of Dick and Danielle, the estranged father and daughter.

On the show, Dick has clearly shown himself to be evil as he asks everyone to call him. He freaks out on everyone, using every personality quark he can to piss them off. Yet he always seems to get what he wants, and not only that, but his daughter who obviously can't stand him refuses to stand up to him. The people on this show are liars, racists, cheaters, and for the most part, boring.

Who is left right now? They have a ragtag alliance of;

Dustin, the outwardly gay guy who screws everyone over and lies constantly;

Jessica, the Kansas starlet who had never seen a black person until she went to college, and thought it was ok to call black people, "colored people" until Jameka told her otherwise;

Jameka, the crazy religious yet extremely angry black woman who calls god her intimate lover;

Amber, the crazy emotional wreck anti-Semitic ex-methhead with absolutely no common sense;

And Eric, the nice guy who is obsessed with this show and CBS screwed him by making him do what America wants.

Aside from these 5 losers, we have

Jen; the model/nanny who is portrayed on the show as a retarded liar, yet has some of the best gameplay ever;

Zach, the guy everyone hates, and the tag team father/daughter duo of Dick and Danielle.

Basically, this is what is going to happen.

Since Jessica won the head of household competition, she is going to do what the other alliance members want and put up Dick and Danielle. Dick will go home, and it will be quiet in the house. No one will purchase live feeds anymore. The show will suck, unless you want to see Jameka pray nonstop and Amber talk about the Jewish menace.

After Dick goes home, the crappy alliance that refers to themselves as the Late Night Crew will have a 5-3 advantage. The following week, they will throw up Danielle and Jen. Jen will go home, and the stupidity level of the tv show will go down.

At this point, the show will start to lose ratings because people routinely watch this show to see Jen make stupid comments. Once Jen is gone, Danielle and Zach will go up, and Danielle will go home. This is fine because she contributes nothing to the game anyways aside from her livejournalish emo whining.

At this point, Zach is screwed. He's a nice guy, but no one likes him. He can't win 4 HoH competitions in a row. Zach will be put up against Eric and then sent home, but it will be a 3-1 vote to scare Eric into realizing the alliance is done and he's next.

His actions as Americas player have been anything but honest, and that's not his fault, but his alliance doesn't trust him. The alliance will unanimously vote him out. At this point, CBS would be better off playing the footage from the sequester house because none of the remaining cast is worth watching and will probably sink the show.

The women will team up, as they always do and kick Dustin out of the house. Amber will be the next to go. The final showdown is going to be Jessica and Jameka, if only because CBS allowing someone who hates jews to win 500,000 dollars is the worst move they could possibly make.

Whoever wins at this point doesn't matter, because we still lose.
