Lets start with what my Friend and I ordered on this visit. After browsing the menu and trying to decided for nearly twenty minutes I narrowed my choice down to their Bleu Bacon Burger, which has a combination of bleu and swiss cheese, fresh cooked crispy bacon, mayo, and the rest of the standard burger trimmings. The cost of this scrumptious burger was $4.29 but I made it a double, which raised it to $5.89, on top of that i ordered a large order of their fresh cut fries for $2.49. The total amount of my order before tax was $8.38. My friend ordered a double Hickory Burger for the same price as mine, only his contained BBQ sauce, crispy bacon, onion rings, tomato, lettuce, and cheddar cheese. The waitress was very nice and prompt in taking our order, it was very reassuring when after we ordered that she commented on how we just ordered two of her all time favorite burgers, which she followed with what i can only describe as an award winning smile.
The food took a little more time to arrive at the table than most other restaurants, but of course good food takes time. I was amazed by the sheer size of the burger and even more about how large their large fries are, it was literally a huge basket of what probably used to be about three good sized potatoes that are now cute and fried to a beautiful crisp golden brown. The burger was phenomenal, the hamburger patty was obviously hand made which means also very real meat and it was cooked perfectly. Had to stretch my mouth just to get the first bite, the combined flavors making me salivate even more as they danced across my pallet. I cant really put words in my friends mouth but what I can say is he was too busy chowing down to speak and he finished all of his meal. I'm positive we both will be going back soon, where else can you get a great meal for just over eight dollars, leave stuffed, and still have about half a basket of fries to spare?
