'Big Money' on Worldwinner: Tips and Tricks

Lisa Miller
Worldwinner.com is a website devoted to arcade, puzzle and card games. Worldwinner allows players to compete against others, either for free or by placing a bet on the outcome of a game. Some highly-skilled players have been able to turn their love of gaming into a profitable pastime, but succeeding on Worldwinner takes time and practice.

Though some people have found success on Worldwinner, it is important to note that, although not technically a gambling site, a simple internet search will tell you that some have become addicted and lost a great deal of money through Worldwinner. Keep in mind that the games are available to play for free if you do not feel comfortable playing for money. Playing for free is what I do, and I still get a lot of enjoyment out of the site.

The fast-paced Big Money is one of the most popular strategy-arcade games on Worldwinner.com.

Big Money on Worldwinner Tips and Tricks: Understand the Rules

This may seem like a no-brainer, but you'd be surprised at how many people begin playing without first reading the rules. Worldwinner provides an in-depth rule sheet that includes not only how points are tallied, but also how to score combos and bonuses. You can't expect to get a high score without understanding how Big Money's bonus system works.

Big Money on Worldwinner Tips and Tricks: Don't Just Focus on Speed

Big Money is a timed game, so it may make sense to move as quickly as you can through the levels. To some degree this is true, but keep in mind that Big Money is also a strategy game that requires some thought. If you simply tear through all the levels, you may find that you have missed opportunities to score high-points combos. Worse yet, by playing as fast as you can, you may end up accidentally clicking coins that cannot be removed. When this happens, you lose points which can quickly add up and hurt your score.

Big Money on Worldwinner Tips and Tricks: Practice on Hard

The best way to get the strategy part of Big Money under control is to practice on the hardest level. At first you may be losing practically as soon as you begin, but over time you'll start to intuitively understand what you need to do. This will increase your speed (and your score) when you switch back to lower levels.

Big Money on Worldwinner Tips and Tricks: Quality over Quantity

Because of Big Money's multiplier system, it's always better to try to get one large combo rather than several small combos. Try to get the largest combo as you can by choosing the most common color on the board and eliminating as many coins in the other colors as possible. Work to set up your big combo, and you'll get a much higher score.

Big Money on Worldwinner Tips and Tricks: Know Your Weaknesses

Practice as much as you can on Big Money, and keep track of how well you do. Notice whether you are getting a low score because you are running out of time or because you are hitting the top of the board. If the former is the case, work on improving your speed; if it's the latter, work on improving your strategy.

Big Money on Worldwinner Tips and Tricks: Stay at Lower Levels Occasionally

Though it may seem a bit counter-intuitive to remain at lower levels when higher levels result in higher points, staying at lower levels is ultimately safer in some circumstances(especially on hard). If you are doing particularly well on a level, and are getting large combos, stay there as long as possible by avoiding clicking on the last money bag. You never know if the next level will be practically impossible.
