Bigen Rich Medium Brown Permanent Hair Color (Review)

Philippa Lane
If you are looking for a gentle, non-damaging brown hair colorant for your hair, then you have found it with Bigen Rich Medium Brown Hair Color-#56.

Bigen is owned by Hoyu Co., LTD. and is based in California, but their headquarters are in Japan. The company manufactures a variety of beautiful hair colorants that are all ammonia free, peroxide free, and require only water to activate the color.

Bigen hair color comes in many different shades such as Chocolate #45, Medium Chestnut #47, Blue Black #88, Light Chestnut #46, Deep Burgundy #96, and many more lovely shades to choose from. The hair colorant comes in a brown, 2 fl. oz. sized bottle and is in a powder form. The bottle is very small, but don't let the looks fool you, because that bottle is packed with a powerful color formula that is like no other.

My natural hair color is light medium brown and I was excited to try Bigen Rich Medium Brown Hair Color-#56 to see how it would enhance my own natural color. I discovered that it is very easy to use and your hair does not have to be cleansed prior to using the colorant. First, mix the entire bottle of hair color with 2 fl. oz. of water, apply the mixture to your hair, after 20 to 30 minutes rinse with warm water and cleanse your hair with your favorite shampoo, then towel dry. I recommend using a shampoo that is specifically designed for color treated hair. After your hair is completely dry, you will see how beautiful the color is. The best way to apply this hair color is with a small brush.

If you are hesitant to use the colorant on the entirety of your hair, simply do a sample test by taking a small amount of hair, preferably near the nape area, and place the mixture on your test strands. Leave the colorant on the test area for 20 to 30 minutes and then rinse out. If all goes well with the test, proceed to apply the color to the rest of your hair.

I like Bigen Rich Medium Brown Hair Color-#56, because it leaves my hair looking very natural, soft, and shiny, it is easy to use, and it does not contain any ammonia or peroxide that could cause damage to my hair. The only thing that I did not like about this product was that it did not leave my hair conditioned as some other hair colors that I have tried. Besides that one element, I am very pleased with my results.

The things that I like the most about Bigen is that it covers gray hair very well, does not contain damaging ingredients, and the color looks natural.

So, if you are looking for a hair color that is ammonia free, does not contain any peroxide, colors gray hair effectively, and leaves hair looking vibrant and natural, then Bigen is the perfect choice.

You can find Bigen Hair Color at many stores around the country and online at http://www.mountainbeautysupply.com for $4.59.
