Biggest Loser Love Match

Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson came to the Biggest Loser to lose weight, but it looks like they might have found love in the process. After leaving the Biggest Loser last week, Sherry Johnston reported that Sam and Stephanie are in a relationship.

Sam Poueu, a 24 year old youth football coach and security guard from Rohnert Park, California came to the Biggest Loser Couples with his cousin Koli Palu as the gray team. Together, they were the heaviest team in Biggest Loser history. Both are still on the show.

Stephanie Anderson is a 29 year old radio sales executive from West Hollywood. She was joined by her mother, Patti, to make up the purple team. Her mother was eliminated week 2, and Stephanie has battled alone since then.

Stephanie's bio says "She also uses work as a reason for not having time to be in a serious relationship, when in reality she is afraid to put herself out there to be judged and possibly rejected." Being on the Biggest Loser ranch has had such a positive impact on Stephanie's self-esteem, and being around others in a similar position put her in a place where she wouldn't face harsh judgement.

Week to week, Stephanie and Sam have both proven that they aren't there to 'play the game', they are there to change their lives. They are respectable people who refuse to step on their competition to make themselves feel better. They take complete responsibility for their actions, and refuse to make excuses. They both focus on the positives and how they can help their teammates rather than getting sucked into all the drama and game-playing that some of the contestants do. To date, Sam has lost a total of 84 pounds, and Stephanie has lost 56.

Both Sam and Stephanie are now on the black team, coached by Jillian, so they're spending all their time together in the gym. Making a healthy new start in life is a great time to start a healthy new relationship as well.
