The Bikeway Network Committee of the City of Ferndale is ready to introduce its proposed layout of the bikeway network. The network will follow those streets that the city deems large enough to support both vehicular and bicycle traffic.
Currently, bicycle lanes are indicated in yellow; the proposed lanes are in green on the layout so that the route can be better visualized.
The city is urging residents to download or obtain a copy of the bikeway network. You can obtain a copy at the Kulick Community Center, 1201 Livernois, Ferndale. After you have the map, you are encouraged to bike the network, then let city officials know what you think.
