Billy Joel: "Storm Front" 1989 Review

Billy Joel's Storm Front Has Great Hits

Nini Fire
Storm front is the eleventh studio album by Billy Joel. It was released in 1989 and was his first to be recorded digitally. This album is said to be more mature than his past and bringing him back to life with great hits.

It includes the famous song "We didn't start the fire" Which I have performed myself many times at karaoke. The song is very educational and not to mention fun, listing the events in news over the last 40 years.

"I go to the extremes" Was a show of confessing emotional instability with a strong melody and a rocky beat. Sort of an ode to manic depression.
There was "Shameless" In which Garth Brooks turned into a country smash later. And "The Down-easter 'Alexa'" Which was about long island fishermen.

"And So It Goes" Is a bit of a melancholic song on this album. A theme of love, It talks about what lover's feel when they are in a relationship but know it cannot last. Being sweet but very sad, it brings tears.

Each song in this lovely album plays with your soul. You can feel it bringing you from tears to joy.
In this album many would claim that he is more matured and into the heart of the matter. It brings him back to life.

Other songs on this album include:

"That's Not Her Style"
"Storm Front"
"Leningrad"
"State of Grace"
and "When in Rome"

This album rose Billy Joel to the top of the charts, and he deserved it. The songs are expertly crafted and given a rock sheen.

I recommend this album for those who love Billy Joel's music. His style is surely a wonderful addition to the history of music and his style is moving. Take a journey into inspiration and love with this wonderful album.

My favorite of his is still "An Innocent Man," and that was the first CD I ever played. Still, this is definitely one of his strongest albums. Thanks for the review!
