Brock Lesnar attended Webster High School in South Dakota, where his wrestling record was 33-0-0 in his senior year of high school. Brock later attended the University of Minnesota with a full wrestling scholarship. He went on to win the 2000 NCAA Wrestling Championship after finishing second in 1999. Lesnar also wrestled at Bismarck State College in North Dakota. Brock's overall college wrestling record was 106-5 for 4 yrs of college wrestling.
After leaving collage in 2000 Lesnar signed up with the WWF and was sent to the Ohio Valley Wrestling Division where he was known as the "Minnesota Stretching Crew." Lesnar wrestled several matches in 2001 and 2002 before he was finally moved up to the main roster.
Brock Lesnar's television debut came on March 18th 2002 in an episode of Raw the night after "Wrestle Mania X8." After being drafted in the "Raw brand" of the WWF Lesnar was nicknamed "The next big thing." Lesnar continued to wrestle in the "Main Event Status" of the WWF from 2002-2004.
After a few arguments and fights with the undisputed champion "The Rock" Lesnar went on to defeat The Rock and became the new WWE champion. Having lost and regaining the belt along with the championship Lesnar then sidelined his WWE career and went on to pursue the National Football League. Brock said in an interview that he had three wonderful years in the WWE but he had soon grown unhappy, and had always wanted to play football.
Lesnar played with the Minnesota Vikings in the pre-season until he was a late cut. Lesnar had created some controversy involving fights along with some heat over the sack of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Damon Huard.
Brock then left the states and wrestled in Japan from 2005-2006. On October 8th 2005 Lesnar won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in a three way match in Japan. After a court battle over visa rights Lesnar was stripped of his title. He continued to hold his physical title and defended it against Kurt Angle at a "Champion vs. Champion" event. Kurt Angle went on to defeat Lesnar with an ankle lock to win the IWGP Championship.
Then on April 28th 2006 Lesnar announced that he was joining the MMA. His first fight was scheduled for June 2nd 2007 where he submitted Min Soo Kim in 68 seconds of the first round. This match made an immediate impact on the MMA
On February 2nd 2008 Brock Lesnar's first UFC match was a loss to Frank Mir by a knee bar submission at 1:30 seconds of the first round. Lesnar then went on to defeat Heath Herring, and then scored TKO's on both Randy "The Natural" Couture and Frank Mir.
Brock Lesnar has one daughter from his ex-fiancé Nichole. Lesnar was married on May 6th 2006 and just recently had a son with his wife in June 2009. Lesnar is trained under the eyes of Greg Nelson of the Minnesota Martial Arts Academy, and assistant wrestling coach Marty Morgan.
Lesnar's image has appeared on numerous video games. He has been on the covers of Flex Magazine and Muscle and Fitness magazines. Brock was also featured in the Minneapolis "City Pages" in 2008. Brock Lesnar now owns a line of MMA clothing that is entitled "Death Clutch."
