Biore Eye Cream Vs. Oil of Olay's Eye Gel

See the Future Fortifying Eye Cream Vs. Age Defying Revitalizing Eye

When should a person start looking for eye creams? I was asking that same question a year ago when I turned 26. I was told that once a woman hits the age of 25 things start to go down hill from there. The one thing women going through the in-between stages of life, adolescent and mature woman, can do is start a beauty regime to prevent premature aging and slow down the signs of aging. It can often be difficult and overwhelming when trying to find an eye cream appropriate for your age. I know it was for me. As I stood in front of an aisle of acne cream and winkle serums, I came across two under eye cream that I thought might work for me. One is Oil of Olay's Age Defying Revitalizing eye gel and the other is Biore's See the Future fortifying eye cream.

I tried both products out for about three months. The first product that I tried was Oily of Olay's Age Defying Revitalizing eye gel. It came in a small glass jar and the gel was clear. The texture of the gel was very light and a tad sticky when it's first being applied. There's a light scent to it that I can't describe but it's very light and fades quickly. The gel is easy to apply with the ring finger using dabbing motions across the under eye. This product works wonderfully to make any fine lines, puffiness and under eye bags disappear. I have insomnia and tend to get dark circles under my eyes as well as small bags, and Oil of Olay's Age Defying Revitalizing eye gel did a great job of minimizing it all and in most cases, even made it go away temporarily. It's not a permanent fix though.

After I went through my jar of Oil of Olay Age Defying Revitalizing eye gel I moved on to Biore's See the Future fortifying eye cream. I've been wanting to try this product out for months. It's part of Biore's in-between line that specifically targets those in the in-between stages of life like me. Right away I like the pen shaped tube and it's pointed tip applicator for precision. The smell is very light and pleasant, sort of like hand lotion. This eye cream is suppose to do the same things that Oil of Olay's eye gel does and that's minimize under eye circle, bags, puffiness and fine lines. I have to say I'm very disappointed with this product. It did what it was suppose to but didn't do a very good job and I had to reapply later in the middle of the day. Although it minimized the look of my bags it didn't make them go away completely. The pointed tip was a good idea in theory but worked horribly. If I didn't squeeze hard enough I couldn't get enough product out and if I squeezed too hard the cream would just come squirting out.

Both products can be found at any drug store, Wal-Mart and Target. I got my Oil of Olay eye gel for about $9 and the Biore eye cream for around $13. Between the two products I would recommend going with Oil of Olay's Age Defying Revitalizing eye gel because it's more affordable and it works very well.
