The Biore box comes in a green and pink box containing 8 original strips. It claims to "cleans weeks of dirt build up in just 10 minutes." On the back of the box it illustrates a picture of just how big the nose strips are. First step is to wet the nose as the product won't stick to dry surfaces. Next pat down and close any gaps around the cervices of the nose. Then wait 10-15 minutes for the product to become dry. You'll know when it's ready because it starts to feel quite stiff when you wrinkle the skin.
Carefully pull from both corners and continue pulling towards the center of the nose. Be careful as to not allow the product to dry too much because it will cause a painful removal. Plus it may leave a white film where parts of the product are stuck on. Next proceed to see if the product really does resemble a porcupine. My strip did! There's a slight tingle after removing the strip. I will continue from time to time with the strips cause they do help clear up some dirt clogged in the pores. The product suggest only using once every three days. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to try it only once a week to avoid irritation.
Another product tried was the Biore Blemishing Fighting Ice Cleanser. It comes in a 6.7 fl oz green pump bottle. Sometimes this product can be found with 25% free bonus. The product contains lavender, salicylic acid and eucalyptus to purify. It has a slight fragrance to it.
The item gives a cool tingling feeling while rinsing it off. After wards the skin has a clean feel to it but perhaps for sensitive skin may feel a tad bit drier. Over the course of a month, it does help keep mild acne at bay. It may be a good idea to use a make up remover for any eye make up as this product didn't remove it very well. Perhaps pairing this item with moisturizer after may help prevent dryness. This product I recommend as okay as a daily cleanser. Both products cost just under $7.00 at the time at Wal*Mart. It may cost more or less depending on where you purchase the item. To see all Biore's pore cleansing products, log onto: http://www.biore.com/
