Bipartisanship, Centrism & "Common Ground." Sounds like the Pleas of Losers to Me

I am about fed up of hearing the hypocritical left with their "let's be bipartisan" junk. When Barack sat on the Oval Office on his third day as Big Cheese, he was clear "Uh, I won the election, so no tax cuts." So if when he had majorities in both Houses and wasn't interested in "bipartisanship," why is it now incumbent upon the Republican majority in the House to move to the center? I swear I hate a hypocrite on the same level as a Commie...course Commie's are hypocrites, so....

In case the lefties and those in the middle are not aware, Republican's won the House in a sweeping defeat of all things progressive. Despite the centrist talking points, and especially those from the hopeful progressive media talking heads, Republican's were elected to TURN BACK the Obama/progressive agenda and not, not, not to "move to the center." Is there a single person with half a brain that does not grasp this concept? So if voters totally rejected progressives, where does that equate to "moving to the center?"

When progressives were plentiful and feeling ballsy all we heard was "drag 'em kicking and screaming to it," yet now they are the minority it's to be "let's work together. Compromise?" Go to Hell! When they had the power they were clear...its way "my way or the hiway." Now they are the red headed step children and they sing a different tune. God I hate hypocrites.

Lemme hook 'em up here. You lost. We do not like your ideas, so why would we compromise the strict construction of the Constitution to see you have our way? When you're about to screw up the nation in nearly permanent ways, why should we sign on and help you, especially since Republican's have been charged by the voting public with "turning back the progressive agenda?" You and your ideas and insane hopey change have been totally rejected. Get used to it. You're wrong, but unlike the super smart peeps ya flatter yourselves with being, ya ain't smart enough to see it yet. Obtuse bunch if one were to ask me. Or just dishonest as Hell. Or are they just bullies? Either way, good luck trying to bully me and mine. We have had enough of that noise as well as more than enough progressivism.

We think progressive ideas are stupid, Marxist, ignorant, base level appealing to less than intelligent and thoughtful folks who like clever sound bites, the young who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground, petulant, childish, and those hoping to gain from living off the system as if something is owed to them by those of us who worked and fairly earned what we have. Barack, I don't agree it's better to redistribute my wealth to "spread the wealth around" ya damned Marxist.

Why would I want to move to the center to compromise with folks I am 180 degrees opposed to? The world is throwing off the yoke of progressivism, so in what reality is it that the US should now embrace it whole hog? I swear these people are like children. They can't have what they want so they think they are clever enough, and we stupid enough, to buy into their childish appeals. "Let's all get along." They didn't want to negotiate with me and mine when they had all the power, so where in the world does tit for tat come in here? It doesn't.

Should we have compromised with the Nazi's? The USSR? Pol Pot? Idi Amin? The Taliban? al Qaeda? Are these folks mad, as in "as a hatter" or just duplicitous as all get out? Seeming to have no shame whatsoever?

I am left with the distinct impression progressive ideas of how to play the political game is akin to dealing with a con artist. They use whatever base level appeal they can to try and get what they want. When we have 'em cornered like we do now, suddenly they want to be all lovey dovey and reasonable, yet when they had the whole nation by the short hairs, there wasn't all that much love from them to us now was there?

I do not have to compromise with radicals who do not like the Constitution. I do not have to agree with those that think the US should be a socialist nation. I do not need to meet in the center those that favor wealth redistribution. I do not need to "discuss" in any way any concept of super-national bodies, ie the UN or the League of Nations, having precedence over US domestic law.

Lastly, think of it like this and I think all but whining progressives will agree: Since when are the winners in any struggle obligated to negotiate with the losers? When they won in 2006 and Barack was swept into office, they made clear they won so no compromises. Yet we win and now we, the winners are told by the losers we must compromise with the losers? My ass!

I am not remotely interested in getting along with my sworn enemies, and progressives had sworn all of us who do not agree as their enemies, fit for denigration and destruction. And I am to "come to the center" and compromise? Why? Because they demand it? Good luck! Hey, why don't y'all hold your breaths until we knuckle under? Ya know, throw a tantrum like many so want to do.
