Need of the Hour
Watching passionately the brutalities of the kings of time is the main hobby of the haves. They are watching the thirsty and hungry Africans, expressing sympathy, only sympathy for them without raising a penny for their empty stomachs. Nobody is there to explain or justify these gory incidents. If a person or country dared to say something about this "largesse" of the sole super power, he or she was not spared from vengeance. People are again tilting towards the bipolar world order due to many obvious reasons. Before the fall of USSR the world was safer to live and work. One nation was in one camp and other was in the opposite. Soviet Union and USA were the leaders and rest of the world was follower. No power was so free to attack the other smaller nations as today's powers are. There was a fear of large scale war including star wars and nuclear bombs. The deterrent forces were more effective than the offending ones.
The unipolar world has seen such heinous incidents that are difficult to believe. Even some of these incidents are master minded by them to find a pretext to snub the world.
Since 1980,s the situation of the world has worsened. Only one power is running the world according to its own dictates and wishes. Russia fell; china started strengthening its economy without taking any bold stand, Europe united in the form of European Union but only for grabbing money. Arabs fell unconscious due to oil wealth and are still in the sound slumber. A small nation is making them to dance to his tunes.
India is patted at the back and eulogized as the potential super power and as the regional power for covert reasons. Central Asia is also on defensive due to affiliation with Islam. Iranian and American policies are same as far as the global politics is concerned. In the wilderness of international politics the fade voice of the Russian authorities is not less than blessing. The balance of power may be maintained only when there are two powers in the world arena. Singular super power is not the solution to the peace of the world.

Post a Comment"War is a pastime fit only for beasts, but practiced by no beast so much as by human kind." The only answer to world peace is for everyone to stop trying to push their beliefs on everyone else, and since everyone thinks that their own way of believing, be it Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and every other religion and/or political philosophy is the "right" way for everyone, world peace is a pipe dream left to us nonbelievers and hippies.
