According to the information gained through the phone number, Birmingham residents will be able to use the park for up to two dogs free of charge until some time in the early Spring. After that, membership to the off-leash park with be $20 for Birmingham residents a year, and $50 for non-residents. Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their dogs and for the clean up of any doggy waste.
Owners can bring up to two dogs as long as they do not show aggressive behavior or excessive barking habits. These animals will be removed from the Birmingham off-leash park at the Lincoln Hills Golf Course. Owners must be 18 or older. Children under five are not allowed in the fenced area of the park, and children between the ages of 5 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
