Birmingham Historical Museum: Nice Place for a Summer Break
Village Players Display 88 Years of History in Exhibit
Folks might want to get out of the heat and humidity, and spend some times indoors. The Birmingham Historical Museum at 1 p.m. Saturday is hosting an exhibition, "On Our Way to 100," featuring Village Players props, costumes, photos and other memorabilia, going back to 1922. Admission is free, so is parking, and you might even get recruited to act in an upcoming play.
If the weekend seems a little too warm, take heart, because daytime high temperatures early next week are predicted in the middle-70 degree range.
