On Thursday, October 21, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. the Birmingham Historical Museum & Park is holding an information meeting for people who wish to volunteer. The Director of the Museum, Jenny Ezzo, will be there to explain volunteering opportunities to those interested. Some of the things volunteers are needed for include greeters, tour guides, and people who want to help with specific exhibits

The Museum is located on W. Maple, about where Southfield Road dead ends. It includes the 1822 John West Hunter House and the 1928 Allen House. According to the Museum's web site, much can be learned about the history of Birmingham. If you'd like to visit, the museum is open Wednesday through Saturday, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

Those with more questions should call 248-530-1928.
