The Museum Director will be responsible for handling all of the programs and activities that support the museum. The Director will also be responsible for implementing museum policies and interacting with the community. Volunteers at the museum are recruited and trained by the Director.
The city is looking for someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Art, History, Business, or some area that would be applicable to the position. A minimum of three to five years experience in a similar position is also required. The candidate who is ultimately hired will work about 20-30 hours per week at a pay rate of $18-22.00 depending on qualifications.
