Here RVers will have the choice of either full hookups or only water and electric. They can also choose to either stay a few days or to stay a few months.

Birmingham South Campground offers its guests access to a swimming pool, a game room, a playground and clean restrooms. There is also wifi at each RV site as well as cable television. These amenities help make the stay in the Birmingham, Alabama area one that is enjoyable.

RVers who are considering staying long term at Birmingham South Campground should be aware of the rules and regulations that are in place at this location. To begin with, each RVer who chooses to stay monthly will have to fill out an application before they arrive at the park. If the RVer is approved and there is a site available for them, then they will be registered to stay at Birmingham South Campground. Each guest that stays monthly will have to fill out a new application before the previous months expires and if the guest has adhered to all the rules and regulations set forth by the RV Park, then the RVer will be re-registered for another month. These rules cover rent procedures, refunds, porches and landings at the rv site, cleanliness of rv site, decorating the rv site, vehicles allowed at site, guests allowed at site, pets, mail, messages and other important aspects of staying at the park.

Daily and monthly rates vary by what type of hookups required. Daily rates for RV sites with water and 30 amp electricity is $37. Daily rates for RV sites with full hookups, meaning water, sewer and 30 amp electricity are $38. If the RVer requires 50 amp electrical hookup then the daily rate will be $41. Monthly rates also vary by what type of hookups are required. For full hookups with 30 amp electric the RVer will pay $480 plus 14% tax. Hookups with 50 amp electricity will pay $525 plus 14% tax.

Birmingham South Campground is located very near Laundromats, grocery stores, fast food shops and shopping. Dry cleaners in the area include Royal Valet Discount Cleaners, which is only 3/10 of a mile from the RV Park on Pelham Parkway in Pelham, Alabama, Pelham Cleaners, which is only a mile from the park on Canyon Park Drive, Pelham, Alabama and Spin 199 Cleaners, which is a little over 2 miles away on Pelham Parkway in Pelham, Alabama. South Brook Coin Laundry is located a little over 3 miles away on 1st Street in Alabaster, Alabama.

Grocery stores in the area are Country Grocery, which is about half a mile away on Highway 52W in Pelham, Alabama; Mi-Pueblo Supermarket, which is located nearly a mile away on Pelham Parkway in Pelham, Alabama and Southern Family Markets, which is also about half a mile away from the park on Pelham Parkway in Pelham, Alabama.

Guests that wish to go shopping do not have to go far either. Harvey Square Shopping Center is located just a few feet away from the RV Park while Pelham Plaza Shopping Center is almost a mile away from the RV Park. There is also a Walmart Supercenter less than 4 miles away on colonial Promenade Parkway in Alabaster, Alabama and Dollar General which is less than a mile away on the Pelham Highway in Pelham, Alabama.
