1.Coffee Can Bean Bag Toss
For this game you will need three large coffee cans, decorate them with the party theme, either by using wrapping paper or have your child color some coloring sheets and apply them to the outside of the can. You will need some old tube socks, these make awesome bean bags, fill them about one quarter of the way with rice or beans, tie a knot in them and you have your bean bags. Number the cans, 10, 20 and 30 for scoring purposes. Place the cans in a row, so that they get further a way. Line the kids up and one at the time let them throw the bean bags, highest scorer wins.
2. Scavenger Hunt
A good old fashion scavenger hunt is a game that will keep the kids busy, you can make the lists, team up the kids and let them go two by two to search for the items on their lists. Using nature is a good idea, you can put stones, pine combs, different leaves, twigs, acorns and other items that are easily found in the great outdoors on the list. The kids will have a good time while learning about nature at the same time.
3. Art at it's best
Get out the construction paper, glue, markers, crayons and what ever other crafty items that you have around the house and let the kids have at it. They can make some pretty interesting stuff. You can venture this project into pet rocks, cards or whatever the kids can come up with to make.
The biggest part of any party is to have fun, there are many other games that you can do with the kids, these are just a few of the ones that we do, they are very inexpensive and easy to do. So have fun and enjoy yourself.
