No, Mo'Kelly is not talking about whether Juanita Bynum is still supposedly stalling the divorce proceedings. No Mo'Kelly isn't even referring to alleged secret meetings where the couple made one last ditch effort to reconcile.
Mo'Kelly is talking about the bomb we've all been "waiting" for...if you let Bishop Weeks tell 'the story.'
XXposure PR, the publicist for Bishop Weeks has moved forward with the online release of the book about his stormy marriage to televangelist "Prophetess" Juanita Bynum.
Hallelujah. What could be better than a supposed Bishop desecrating his marriage for the sake of a buck? Who better to disregard the Christian values of turning the other cheek and loving thy neighbor as thyself than a Bishop?
All in the name of a dollar and to save (gasp)...his reputation? We should be able to agree that his reputation is beyond saving, so we're down to just making a buck. Let's call it what it is.
Anybody truly interested in "telling the truth" for the sake of the truth being told, doesn't require people to pay for it. If Bishop Weeks was primarily interested in "telling the truth" he could've simply just told the truth and been done with it. Nobody said he "had" to charge folks $13.95 to tell it. Nobody said he had to call a press conference of 4 people to hint at the truth which would come sometime in the future. Nobody said he had to create that sorry video apology. And to be "truthful," nobody even said he had to beat the crap out of his wife in the first place. All of this was easily avoidable and arguably a product of his own doing.
Could you just imagine if Bishop Weeks were your pastor or Juanita Bynum your minister? Could you just imagine the type of spiritual leadership guiding your congregation from Sunday to Sunday?
"Bishop, my wife and I are going throush marital problems and she's not cooperating."
"My brother in Christ, kick the crap out her, make sure there are witnesses and then deny everything. Wait a few months and then write a tell-all memoir pandering to the lowest common denominator. Then go spend your money and be sure to give God the glory."
"Thank you Pastor...God surely uses you. Praise Jesus."
"Prophetess, my husband verbally and physically abuses me and I can't get him to stop.."
"Chile...file a police report, dangle that over his head and blackmail him into financially supporting you indefinitely. Also, put together a threshing floor video and beg for 200k from parishioners while encouraging them to buy 5k ballpoint pens. In the meantime, tour the country as the 'new face of domestic violence' doing absolutely nothing. In fact, I have a friend over at Essence magazine. Take down this number, they ain't about nothing...so they'll be sure to help."
Mo'Kelly doesn't need to read Bishop Weeks' book, What Love Taught Me because the very title itself is misguided and disingenuous.
"Love" doesn't 'teach' vindictiveness. "Love" doesn't engage in petty public bickering in an effort to "save face." Mo'Kelly knows. He used to be THE most vengeful and vindictive "ex" on the face of this Earth. Mo'Kelly KNOWS of what he speaks.
One of Mo'Kelly's favorite hymns goes a little something like this...
"Victory, victory shall be mine. Victory, victory shall be mine. If I hold my peace and let the Lord fight my battles... victory, victory shall be mine."
Yes, it says "victory" not vindictiveness "shall be mine." It says "victory," not vengeance "shall be mine." If any of you know it, feel free to join on in.
Mo'Kelly isn't here to preach a word or pass judgment. But it must be said that not only is this behavior pitiful, it's painful and disappointing. Clowning them both couldn't convince them to just sit down and "be still." Impassioned, thought-provoking pleas couldn't sway either of them to avoid further embarrassing themselves every step of the way.
Angelo Ellerbe, head of the New York based PR firm releasing the book exclaimed, "The truth is no longer on strike and Bishop Weeks has been silent far too long. The book speaks the truth -- no more drama, no more tears, no more lies. Enough of this 'confusement' park! This book must be released!"
Yes, and this "truth" will set us free, right?
...Uh, no.
And here we are...another embarrassment in the name of worldly approval. Mo'Kelly just thanks the Lord that he's not connected to either of their ministries.
What Love Taught Me...on sale now from the Bishop who also brought you How to Beat the Crap Out of Your Wife and Pulpit Pimps Up, Holy Ghost Down.

Post a CommentMo, this is one of the best opinion I have read in weeks about these 2 people and its quite fair, what u said. This shows the actual truth about the time they spend with God and the time they spend impressing the public. It also shows how much they truly love the Lord. Such a shame.

Yep, the money is the dead giveaway.
