According to a writing of John.
Who is John? What does it matter,
If the water turns bitter in your pond?
Will people die because it's bitter?
Some fish already have.
Why did it happen? Poisons were dumped;
Thank you Mister Wormwood.
Why do they keep doing it?
Paid witnesses looked the other way, I suppose,
And they did it because they could.
Their increased profit is our loss.
Who is going to clean it up?
No one I guess, it's such a mess.
If they would just stop future dumps,
Profits might jump down a bit,
But a life could be more worth living,
If it was not stuffed with junk.
