Bittersweet

You have been such an inspiration in my life,
both during good times and bad.
We've walked through storms and cloudy weather
and along the the creeks and streams.

I never told you the way that I have felt about you,
for fear as crazy as that seems.
Ive loved you since forever even in my dreams.
Our paths have crossed daily like a whisper in the wind.

I have longed for the day when I could call you more then just a friend.
although without an explanation at times I have stayed away,
its because I have loved you from the very first day.

So now its out in the open and you know the way feel.
I had no idea that you loved me and this could be something real.
I will take today as a new book of memories
with new pages that we can fill.
