Black Bart

The Outlaw Poet

Walton S. Tissot
Took the gold not the cargo
Most dapper and a dandy
Truest hate for Wells Fargo
With a gun was quite handy

It was Ferguson & Bigg's
A hanky laundered did leave
What lead to his digs
The bandit'd been treed

Even though he had lied
Neither repeal nor reprieve
As Charlie Boles, Bart was tried
A stay at San Quentin did he receive

Though he came out thin
He'd served his time
Never to be seen again
For rob and rhyme

To what fate
Black Bart the Po8

I guess it's not really "new" but new to me! It feels a bit like Cowboy Poetry. Enjoyed! Hadn't heard about retiring the audio. So NOT cool!

I love this. Been wondering when we were getting a new poem from you. What do you think about AC retiring all of the Audio stuff? I don't think its a good idea to limit the type of media that can be published.
