The Black & Decker MS2000 sander is packaged with a variety of interchangeable bases. These bases are useful for detail, random orbit, and finish sanding.
You will also like the fact that these bases are very easy to switch out. You won't even have to use any tools. All you have to do is press the release button and you're ready to put on a new base.
Smart Select
The Black & Decker MS2000 incorporates Smart Select technology. You just use the dial to select your intended application ranging from detail sanding to intricate work. The tool will then recommend a sanding base as well as a sanding speed.
Comfort
The Black & Decker MS2000 smart sander is also very comfortable to use. There are a variety of gripping positions for you to choose from. They include two-handed, rear, and palm. The grips are also comfortable to hold.
Dust
The Black & Decker MS2000 sander collects dust into a canister. The canister is designed to be easy to empty. Also, there is a filter that helps keep harmful debris from damaging the internal components of the tool.
Sheets
The Black & Decker MS2000 sander is designed to use 1/4-sheet sanding paper. Changing out sheets is incredibly easy thanks to the hook-and-loop system. You're provided with an assortment of sandpaper to get you started.
