Black Forest Fruit Snacks with Juicy Filled Centers

Delicious Individual Packs ~ Perfect Size for Kids of All Ages

Diane Zoller-Ciatto
Being a Weight Watcher, I needed something that would fit in my purse and allow me to indulge without putting a dent in my PointsPlus values for the day. So opting for something yummy without going off the deep end, I found Black Forest Fruit Snacks with juicy filled centers. Similar to gummy bears but with a juicy center, these little packs weigh 0.9 ounces or (25 grams.)

The nutrition is:

Calories 80 Calories from Fat 0
Total Fat 0 grams
No saturated or trans fats
Cholesterol 0 mg
Sodium 15 mg
Total Carbohydrates 20 grams
Dietary Fiber 0 grams
Sugars 14 grams
Protein 1 gram

They also contain 100% of Vitamin C based on a 2000 calorie diet.

One small bag is one serving size.
Ingredients: Fruit Juice from Contentrate (apple, chreey, grape and lemon), corn syrup, sucrose, gelatin, modified food startch, citric acid, malic acid, pectin, ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), natural and artificial flavor, coconut oil, carnauba wax, sodium citrate, red 40, yellow 5 and blue 1.

Warning: This product was manufactured in a facility where peanuts, almonds, milk, soy cashews, macadamias, pistachios and egg are used in the production of other products.

Safety Warning: Small objects such as hard and soft candies may inadvertently become lodged in the throat.
Manufactured by Ferrara Pan Candy Co., Forest Park, IL 60130 U.S.A..

The best thing about these is that according to the new Weight Watchers guidelines, each package is only one PointsPlus value with the satisfaction of a candy bar. I recommend letting them melt in your mouth until the juice flows through and make them last a long time. Each package contains about seven pieces. Flavors are: Grape, Apple, Lemon and Cherry.

I purchased these in BJ's Wholesale Club for less than $5.00 for a box of 42 pouches.
