The Chicago Tribune predicts there is a flood of pent-up consumer demand ready to shop until the drop and stores are hoping the lackluster year will end with a flurry of sales beginning before Black Friday.

However, the Tribune also predicts that many retailers will use the words "Black Friday" to try to trick consumers into purchasing items that are not that great of a deal. Just because you see the words "Black Friday," do not assume that it is the best deal of the season. Do your research to find the best deals. There are numerous sites dedicated to collecting all of the Black Friday ads as they are leaked. These ads are for Wal-Mart, Target, Sears, Ace Hardware and every other store you can think of.
