Black Friday or Cyber Monday

Pro and Cons of Shopping After Thanksgiving

Myself
Black Friday is seriously no joke at all. People have been pushed, shoved, knocked down, trampled to death or even shot and killed on this day. Even with all the dangers that lies ahead on Black Friday, it does not stop shoppers from participating in the grueling event. Although the difference between life and death can also be a mouse click away.

Every year on Black Friday there is always a casualty among the numbers of shoppers as well as injured. No one is safe on this day. It doesn't matter if you're old or even as young as a baby. If you're moving too slow or in the way then you're going to be trampled upon with no mercy. It's true. This year a Walmart employee was trampled to death as he was opening the doors. The feisty shoppers were so relentless that they didn't even give him the chance to completely open the door. The door was broken down and the frame ended up looking like an accordion. Other Walmart employees tried to save their coworker but were pushed away by the mob of shoppers. The shoppers were so busy on grabbing the door buster deals that they didn't care if they just killed someone and were infuriated and continued shopping when the police came and kicked everyone out so they can investigate the death. Across the country, 2 were shot and killed at a Toys R Us over a dispute. You may survive the hours of waiting in the cold and rain but you cannot survive a crazy mob of people or a bullet.

The only real pro of attending Black Friday is if you're the very first in line because you can have first choice on the limited door busters although some of the deals are not that great to begin with and not even worth it to camp out. The cons of Black Friday totally outweighs the pros. In addition, you are more likely to make a bad decision and actually purchase items for more because you will have the mindset that everything is on sale and a good deal so you will just buy anything and everything without thinking it through and not being able to do any research on any of the products. Black Friday is a bust for the majority of the people so avoid at all costs.

The real bargain shoppers participate in Cyber Monday which is just like Black Friday except it's online and without a crazy mob that's willing to kill you. There's no need to camp out in the cold or sleep on the hard pavement overnight and there's no waiting in line online although there may be some Internet lag due to the overwhelming number of web browsers. On Cyber Monday, you will be able to find great deals or even better deals than on Black Friday. You can shop without the fear of being killed by another shopper and you can instantly look up reviews and get feedbacks on any product that you want. There's less risk with shopping online in the comfort of your own home or anywhere you can as long as you have a computer connected to the Internet. The only con would be that you may miss out on better deals on Black Friday and you won't be able to look at the items first hand because you cannot touch them although all of the cons does not outweigh the pros.

In order to save the most, you must be able to learn how to shop. Take a look and both sales and compare to see what works best for you and which will save you the most. The answer may surprise you or it may not but it's what you have to do if you want to shop smart.
