Huge Holiday Shopping Sales!

The Black Friday 2009 deals continue to roll in daily! This year's holiday shopping may offer up some of the most attractive deals ever seen. Various retailers including Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Lowes, Home Depot and Staples have been releasing early sneak previews of their sales, or advertisement flyers have leaked online. On Saturday, November 7, 2009, Walmart offered up an early one day sale. Their deals included a Xbox 360 with $100 Walmart e-card for $200, Blu-ray player for $150, and laptop computer for under $300. Walmart plans to unleash even more 2009 deals for Black Friday for the actual shopping day as well.

Best Buy is going a similar route as they are offering an "Early-Bird Thanksgiving Sale" set to last for Friday and Saturday, online only. The electronics retailer is offering early sales deals on items including digital picture frames, digital cameras, a Magellan GPS receiver and a vado HD Pocket Camcorder. They are also offering free shipping on a variety of electronics including TV sets and computer accessories. The deals should only continue to get sweeter as Black Friday approaches!

Various websites have released early looks at the upcoming Black Friday deals, which will probably lead to major crowds on the day after Thanksgiving. Old Navy, Kmart, Sears, Office Depot, Kohls and Target are among those retailers to have info online, although some have not been confirmed by the actual company. Target is one of the retailers whose Black Friday ads leaked online, but it was reported these weren't officially confirmed. If these are the real deals, they have some pretty great prices and deals. Among the deals they offer are DVD's for as low as $3.99, a $40 color camcorder . In fact, Target offers a slew of DVD's or Blu-ray's of movies and television seasons at great prices. Many parents might scoop up the original Transformers DVD for their children at the price of $5.99. Others may pick up the low price Wizard of Oz Blu-ray for friends or family. The store is also offering digital cameras, Blu-ray players, TV's and more. A top attention-getter will definitely be the 32 inch Westinghouse LCD TV for just $246! Target's flyer which wasn't confirmed by the company online, claims the store opens its doors at 5AM on the big shopping day.

Some retailers, including Staples are turning to Social Media sites such as Twitter and Facebook this year to spread the word on their big deals. These days many online web surfers get a majority of info from these sites by subscribing to the company's updates. Friends tell friends about great deals, and the word spreads like wildfire, hopefully leading to increased sales for the retailers.

This year's Black Friday arrives on November 27, 2009, the big shopping day after Thanksgiving. Shopping will continue through that weekend and through Cyber Monday on November 30th as employees log on to shopping sites at work. The Black Friday 2009 deals seem to be pretty sweet, but managing to pick up the items will be a challenge as large crowds will be lined up at many stores to capitalize and save money!
