Sounds like a great deal, doesn't it? Not so fast! Like many things, you need to read the fine print to make sure that a Black Friday deal is truly that - a deal. The Wal-Mart Xbox 360 is $99 after a $100 Wal-Mart e-card, which is valid for any FUTURE on-line purchase at Wal-Mart.
Technically, you have to shell out $199 for this deal. In addition, the item in question is the Arcade version, which doesn't have a hard drive. You can play whatever Xbox 360 games you want, but you cannot score your store. I don't know about you, but that's the best part of playing Xbox is coming back to a game later.
Another early Black Friday deal includes a 42" HDTV for $498 at both Wal-Mart and Best Buy. These sales are early Black Friday sales, and I cannot help but wonder if the prices of TVs will extend even lower on the REAL Black Friday.
We've all heard about Sear's Black Friday Now sales at Sears. Each Saturday, Sears will have doorbuster sales that will take place of their once-a -year Black Friday sales. This means that shoppers can get Black Friday deals at Sears all during the months of November and December.
I know one Black Friday sale that I am definitely going to shop - Amazon.com. Amazon.com is an amazing Web site. I actually purchased my 52" Sony HDTV there for hundreds less than a lower-model of the same size and brand at Sears. All together with professional installation, I spent $2,300. At Sears I would have had to pay $2,500 for the TV and an additional $250 to boot. Shipping and in-home white-glove delivery was included with Amazon's deal.
Amazon.com hasn't released their Black Friday deals, but if you are stuck at home and need a good deal, check out Amazon's Gold Box deals of the day. Chances are, you will find something that you like. Be sure to bookmark Amazon's Black Friday Deals page and visit it regularly to make sure you don't miss any amazing online deals.
Black Friday deals this year aim to extract money out of consumers' pockets. Consumers are less likely to spend because of job loss and fears about the economy.
