From Tiger Direct we have an Intel Dual Core Celeron 1.8Mhz with 3GB of Ram, 250 GB hard drive, 15.6" screen loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium. All the reviews of this unit were great. MSI has been putting together some great Laptop packages recently, and this unit will handle the multimedia that I am looking for in a laptop.
Next, I found an Acer laptop at Ewiz. This laptop is going for $440 dollars, but with the 10% off Black Friday coupon code ends up being less than $400.00. It touts an Intel Celeron 2.2 Ghz processor, 3GB Ram, 1.5" Monitor, 250GB hard drive with Vista Home Premium loaded. It is built for multimedia and will handle your applications fine and be able to burn DVD's, etc.
Fry's has a nice Toshiba on sale for $349.00. Unlike the other laptops above, this is a 32-bit OS system. It uses the Intel t3000 chipset, 1.8ghz Celeron Processor, has 2Gb ram installed and has a 250GB hard drive, DVD+RW unit and a 15.6" screen. It does come loaded with Microsoft Works. Not bad for only $350.00
Staples is offering a HP Intel T4300 Celeron system that has a 15.6" screen, 4GB Ram and a 250GB hard drive preloaded with Windows Home Premium. Further specifications not listed in the ad.
OfficeMax has a nice HP Pavilion laptop with a 15.6" display running 3GB Ram, with a 160GB hard drive. This unit is also featuring the Windows 7 Premium 64-bit OS. Not a bad deal at $379.00.
Office Depot is offering an Intel Celeron 900 2.2 GHz unit for $299.99. This unit has the following specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit, 15.6" screen, 3GB Ram, 250Gb Hard Drive.
If you are looking for a good Netbook, then Office Depot is your store with an Acer Netbook touting Windows XP Home Edition, 10.1" screen, 1GB Ram and a 160GB hard drive all for $199.99
Walmart has the HP G71-329wm Laptop Computer on sale for #398. This unit has a 17.3" screen, 4GB Ram, 320GB hard drive, DVD+RW, and Home Premium 64-bit OS, I think that this is the best deal that I have seen so far this season.
Happy shopping everyone, if you find a good deal please comment on this article and share the wealth.
