Black Friday Laptop Deals Are Amazing
Black Friday Laptop Deals Are the Perfect Gift for the Techie in Your Life
So where will the best Black Friday laptop deals be? Look for Best Buy and Wal-Mart to be the leaders this year. Shortly after the first of the year, Circuit City shut its doors for good. If they were still open, there would be a third heavy-hitter in the mix. Of course, look for Wal-Mart to refuse to let anyone beat their prices. However, Best Buy has a larger offering of laptops, including brands such as Dell.
ACER netbooks have gained a lot of popularity. Netbooks are tiny laptops that are popular because of their portability and light weight. Many netbooks boast the same processing capabilities of a low-to-mid level laptop. Office Max had a Black Friday ad leaked, which featured a $149.99 ACER 10.1" netbook. I would not be surprised to see that price point at many retailers.
In addition to laptop deals on Black Friday, I would look for peripheral deals as well. Netbooks do not have a CD ROM built in, so I would expect to see amazing deals on external CD-ROMS or external CD-ROMS packaged in with netbooks for a low price. Believe it or not, the external CD-ROM will come in handy. I recently had to borrow one from a friend because I needed to load MS Office on my netbook. That's near impossible to do if you don't have a download link or a CD-ROM drive.
Laptop users also need flash drives. Target already announced that they would have $10 flash drives for sale. Picking up a couple of these will make it much easier to transfer files from your laptop to your desk top and vice versa. These make great stocking stuffers too, if you happen to purchase a surprise laptop on Black Friday to give as a Christmas gift.
Black Friday laptop deals are most likely going to be limited in number. Therefore, you need to scour all the Black Friday ads to figure out what you game plan is on the day after Thanksgiving. Be sure to arrive at your location early - a few hours early if the deal is a high-profile deal.

Post a Commentthe prices for those laptops are small, they really are cheap and Acer is one of my favorite lap brand :D
Getting Office on a Netbook is easy, for current versions of Microsoft Office download a trial from http://us20.trymicrosoftoffice.com/default.aspx
Then stick in your valid key. Most Netbooks come with a demo of Office 2007 on them here you just stick your home and student key in and it just works. Of course you may need a drive if it doesnt work because you have an older version of Office.
If you do get an external drive make sure its a DVD writer, as opposed to a CDROM.
