Black Friday Sales Around Long Island

Black Friday is the most popular shopping day of the year. Most stores will fling their doors open early and offer door buster deals to people who are willing to get to the stores extra early. Tanger Outlets in Riverhead will be opening extra, extra early-at Midnight! Target and Walmart Stores will also be open early with special savings all day long.

Tanger Outlets in Riverhead, 11901, is opening at 12 AM on Friday with their Midnight Madness sale. Kohls in Levittown, 11796, will be opening at 4 AM the day after Thanksgiving and having great door buster sales until 1 PM, but continuing their sale into Saturday. They will have 50% off their toy stock including Fisher Price, Barbie and Playskool. Kitchen appliances will be 25 to 60 percent off.

Walmart, 11554 and 11590, is taking a different approach to Black Friday this year. They are having Secret In-Store Savings. Walmart will be announcing, in-store, different specials, sales and giveaways randomly throughout the day. They are also announcing five big ticket items that will be marked down on their website this week. The store will open at 5 AM and door buster sales will be ending at 11am.

Micro Center in Westbury, 11590, will be opening at 6 AM Friday. Early bird specials include a $99 GPS with a 3.5 inch screen and an Acer Notebook with Windows Vista Home Edition for only $299, but only 10 GPS units and 15 laptops are available per location so get there early. Multiple printers are on sale or even come free (with rebates) with the purchase of different brand digital cameras, PCs and motherboards. A wireless USB 2.0 adapter can be found here for $3.99.
