Black Friday Sales: How to Boost Bargains and Discounts

Shoppers should bring all sales papers for the stores they plan to shop. Additionally, bring their competitors sales papers as well. Many times, items do not ring up at the promotional price. Even staff may not be familiar with the discounts and bargains promised. It is very handy to have the store circular available to get the sale prices and discounts listed.

Many stores will price match bargains and discounts of a competitor on Black Friday. However, the sales circular must be provided. If you find a product at a store that will price match, grab it up. There is no guarantee that the competing store will have the product in stock once you arrive. Requesting a store to price match can also save shoppers time and money spent in crowded holiday transit.

Coming with a friend or partner on Black Friday can speed shopping along and boost a consumers chance of obtaining discounts. Many doorbusters advertised for Black Friday are in very limited quantities. Shoppers can find twice as much, twice as fast, when searching for prized doorbusters and bargains. Shopping with an extra set of hands on Black Friday could also mean standing at the front of the checkout line while others are still busy shopping.

It is also a good idea for shoppers to become familiar with the location of items in stores such as Toys-R-Us and Walmart. Many times staff will know a day or so prior as to where doorbusters will be located come Black Friday morning.

Keep in mind that retail lines are long on Black Friday. To cut down on idle time in wait, plan where you intend to start shopping based on opening times. If planned just right, a shopper can be in several store lines at opening to reap the best bargains and discounts that Black Friday sales have to offer.
