Black Friday Sales Coming Early to Fargo, North Dakota; Staying Late

They are giving local consumers a taste of these deals every weekend through December. Their goal is to give customers a chance to take advantage of low prices, while catching shoppers before the other stores.

This business plan makes a lot of sense. If they can catch holiday shoppers early, consumers won't spend as much money at competing businesses. Waiting until Black Friday reduces their odds of making the sale, since there is a chance that most consumers have completed their shopping elsewhere.
