It's almost time for Black Friday, this article contains snack ideas and tips to help you make the most of this important Christmas Shopping day!

Avoid the crowded time consuming restaurants and the bag confusion when shopping with friends.

Black Friday will soon be upon us and while you are shopping quickly, you may forget to eat correctly. This article will give you examples of quick snacks you can eat on the go as you rush in those stores on Black Friday, and still maintain the energy you need.

When enjoying the Black Friday experience or generally doing the Christmas Shopping this year, if your time is limited and you do not wish to eat a heavy meal, healthy snacks just maybe what you need. Heavy meals in a restaurant will slow you down and eat away at the shopping budget and who wants that?

Trail Mix

The trail mix is easy to prepare and can be very individualized to suit the tastes if anyone. In small snack sized sandwich bags put in a mix of nuts, raisins, something which is bite sized and salty and a variety of bite sized chocolate pieces. Visiting a bulk food store will allow you to purchase these items in the quantities you need.

If there are four friends going, Christmas shopping together each one can purchase one of the items in the mix.

One can purchase the nuts, raisins, salty item and the other can purchase the chocolate. If this is four or more close friends, then picking the varieties should not be hard.

When you meet in the morning at one house to carpool on the Christmas shopping trip, divide the food and share it into the snack-sized bags.

Each person can bring a sleeve of their favorite cookies, snack size bags of potato chips or even those handy packs of crackers with the cheese in the middle.

Beverages and Sandwiches

Sandwiches and drinks can also be purchased the same way. Let the friends each bring their favorite non-alcoholic beverages and keep them in a cooler in the trunk of the car. Sandwiches, which have been made at home, can also be stored in the cooler. This not only saves money it also saves time of having to wait on the food after its been ordered at a restaurant.

Just remember not to bury the cooler under all the bags, which will defeat the purpose of bringing your own food and drinks.

Yarn

Another non-food related tip for making Black Friday or Christmas Shopping with friends easier is to supply each friend with a different colored yarn or ribbon. The yarn or ribbon should be cut in 3-4 inch pieces and placed in a small size sandwich bag. Before the bags are placed in the trunk of the vehicle, tie the bag closed with the yarn. This way Joanne's bags are not being mixed up with Nancy's!
