Black Friday Video Game Sales in Orlando, Florida

Skyler Raine
If you have children (or like me, can still be a big child yourself at times) then you'll want to know the best "hot spots" for video games this holiday season. Black Friday is one of the best times of year to find amazing deals on products of every kind. Don't miss your chance to stay ahead of the game by reading through some of the top stores hosting great video game sales.

ToysRUs - Many assume that this store is filled with action figures and baby dolls. The truth is that they also have a great electronic section that features a variety of console games. Every Black Friday they have great sales on many of the top titles of the year. I highly recommend picking up the ToysRUs Big Book which features an abundance of pages, all featuring sales for Black Friday. Visit www.toysrus.com for more information.

Best Buy - During Black Friday you can find some amazing sales on video games. They offer sales on new titles, as well as older titles that can often be found at eye-popping low prices. Keep an eye out for the video game "bins" as these are where you'll find many games for under $20 (some even as low as $5-$10!). The best video game deals at Best Buy tend to sell out fast, so be sure to make an early start when setting out to make a purchase. Stop by your local Best Buy for a Black Friday flier (based upon availability).

Wal-Mart - The super store across the globe for low prices. They feature many great video game sales on top titles and new releases. You'll also find many other (older) miscellaneous titles for discounted prices. I highly recommend making this a stop on your agenda if you don't like doing a lot of driving but want to pick up gifts and great deals for the entire family. There's a little something for everyone here! Check their website for a location closest to you in Orlando.

GameStop - I'll add this store onto the list, although to be quite honest, over the past few years it has been quite the disappointment on Black Friday. They usually have great console bundles at excellent prices on Black Friday. However, when it comes to single video game deals, I've found the sales to be rather lacking, with the best deals on very outdated games and those for systems most people don't even use. Hopefully they will "up their game" (being a store dedicated to video games and all). However, before taking the time out of your day, I recommend grabbing a Black Friday flier prior to the date, or if unavailable, ask an employee. There are many locations throughout Orlando, so I recommend using their website to find the closest to you www.gamestop.com
