Black People (African-Americans) Deserve More Paid Holidays Now that Barack Obama is President

Phillip W. Chambley
Over the years, African-Americans have fought through U.S.A slavery, racial white prejudice and deserve "more rights for acknowledged holidays here in America!" Unfortunately, American holidays are based on the "White-Mans religion and status". Our present 2009 great leader and president Barack Obama has shown us that it is possible to over-come this great in-justice that the "White Man" can impose for all American born human beings throughout this nation we call the U.S.A..------

American Christmas is ironically based on the "White-Man" holiday with a long grey beard? Even Thanksgiving is based on the original white-mans theory that "White" American citizens and natural born native Indians have seemed to never over-come regarding this issue of racial prejudice since Christopher Columbus discovered the American southern islands beyond our state of Florida called the "Cay-Man" islands.-------

One of our greatest religious leaders in American African-American history was Martin Luther King Jr., whom was terribly shot and killed by a "White Man". Martin King lovably stood by the belief that all human beings can stand together as one on this earth during the era and this bad time of the Vietnam war during the 1960's. "If he had lived? His prophecy of peace may have changed mankind all over the earth?" Especially U.S.A. policticians at this destructive time and history.

"Shouldn't we have a George Washington Carver day off in American society?" Have Americans ever thought about how hard this human being African-American fought so hard to prove the "power of the small peanut in his time in American life?" Even former president Jimmy Carter used Washington Carver's theory of "peanuts" for his profit, fame and fortune. Ironically, president Carter never publically announced that George Washington Carver originally had developed the formula for making "Money off peanuts!, which Carter used year after year!"

Or what about the great and heroic African-American "Tuskegee Airmen" during World War II in the year of 1941?" These expert black pilots flew during this horrible war as the 332nd fighter group in the U.S.A. army group!. Even after they fought the "White-Mans" racial problems, they continued to fight for the freedom of America.

So far in American society, our 2009 president Barack Obama has proven that any prejudice one race can over-come the racial problems here in America. This great country of the U.S.A. needs to seriously think about our "White-Man holidays!" Who knows? Our next great president may be a natural born American Hispanic citizen?
